Robert Wu's Marbled Paper

I remember visiting Robert Wu at his studio in Toronto several years ago.  He was preparing the pigments for his marble paper prints from hand ground minerals .  He still executes this amazing attention to detail and artistry today .http:// www.studiorobertwu.com.  Marbled papers are a traditional detail on the endpapers of antique books.  The paper aesthetic made it a stunning lining for our BBB Luxe bags.  I was able to find a British textile company that printed archival marble patterns on cotton for the lining of our BBB but sadly they are not in production any longer.  A collaboration with Robert Wu to design a lining for us is underway....  but his patterns are so beautiful, we will need to turn the bag inside out!  So a BBB in a Robert Wu Marble Print on the outside is in the works, too.
