Dame Elisabeth Frink's Flying Men

At first alarming then hilarious, I have found the sculptures by British sculptor Dame Frink to be.  Called the Flying Men (or the boys in speedos, is a good fit too), the pair are very much stationary in the Odette Sculpture Park in Windsor;  but they have great energy of motion and look like they have just landed from Mars and about to take off again.... and apropos this Halloween it appears one took off with a Brave Brown Bag.  However friend Katarina was able to arrest flyingman with a hug and managed to escape with bag from his ghoulish clutch.... see triumphant on yonder hill upper left in last photo.  Her other work is equally engaging:  http://www.tate.org.uk/artistss/dame-elisabeth-frink And the bag in this blog just happens to be on Sale with our Classic Wax Cranberry and  Vintage Wax Ebony for holiday gift giving and/or for your favourite ghoul.... a most elegant way to trick and treat.
