The problem with Ava...

Ava is my avocado plant.   Ava started from a football size avocado.  I wish I had taken a photo of that indescribable green/yellow fruit on the inside.  It is my favourite colour.  When my sister visits form Florida, we always hope its during avocado season.  She fills her BBB with as many as she can schlep and onto the plane and under her seat they go. !  It is quite a sight.  Now what is the problem with Ava?  Well as a 12" seedling no problem but 2 years later she is approaching '!!!    The move outdoors is a bit premature..... Suggestions welcome as long as I dont have to cut plant back.
