"The Sweetness of a Simple Life "

I gave this book to my sister Bonny who is an avid gardener and keep borrowing it back for myself!  So I better get another copy. I discovered writer, medicianal botanist, scientist, Diana Beresford-Kroeger ~ Author of The Sweetness of a Simple Life.  One of her stories is about making a coconut into a birdhouse for a small bird that does an annual migration from Buenos Aires  so the bird will feel right at home here in Canada.  Hope it does not confuse the bird!. I remember as a joke, we hung an avocado off Bonny's eggplant plant one summer. In any event  the book is a fascinating read that grounds one's spirit back to the soil....... Her blog as well displays her vast knowledge about trees  http://dianasjourney.com/
